Volleyball Recap: North Clarion Triumphs

North Clarion lost to Allegheny-Clarion Valley back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Wolves walked away with a 3-1 win over the Falcons. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

While North Clarion might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Allegheny-Clarion Valley scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-20, 24-26, 25-23.

Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Malia Page, who had ten kills, nine digs, and five aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexi Altman, who had five digs and three aces.

The victory got North Clarion back to even at 2-2. As for Allegheny-Clarion Valley, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. North Clarion is set to square off against their familiar foe Clarion-Limestone at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Allegheny-Clarion Valley will face off against rival Karns City at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
