Basketball Recap: Mathews Blue Devils vs. Northampton Yellowjackets

Mathews easily dispatched King & Queen Central on Thursday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Mathews Blue Devils fell just short of the Northampton Yellowjackets by a score of 69-66 on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-63 back in December of 2024.

It was another big night for Antoine Horsley, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds for Northampton. Those 16 points gave Horsley a new career-high. Jaylen Anderson was another key player, putting up 13 points.
