Football Recap: Crescent Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Merritt last Friday, Crescent came back down to earth. The Tigers took a 52-33 bruising from the Hooker Bulldogs on Friday. The Tigers lost against the Bulldogs in their previous head to head back in November of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 40-0 score last time.

Justin Palacios had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 255 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.6 yards per carry for Hooker. Those four rushing touchdowns gave Palacios a new career-high. Keilan Robinson was another key player, rushing for 71 yards and a pair of TDs on only six carries.

Crescent's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Hooker, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Crescent nor Hooker have any future games scheduled.
