Reagan has been on a difficult stretch since their win on August 20. They fell just short of the Winston Salem Christian Lions by a score of 2-1 on Friday. While losing is never fun, Reagan can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 196th, while Winston Salem Christian are ranked 48th).

Reagan's loss dropped their record down to 2-10-2. As for Winston Salem Christian, the victory (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 13-4-2.

Coming up, Reagan will take on R.J. Reynolds at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Reagan will need to watch out since R.J. Reynolds have now posted at least four goals in their last three matches. As for Winston Salem Christian, they will face off against Bishop McGuinness at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Winston Salem Christian's defense better be ready for this one: Bishop McGuinness have averaged an impressive 4.3 goals per game this season.
