Volleyball Game Preview: Monte Vista Monarchs vs. Valley Center Jaguars

Valley Center will be up against a hot Monte Vista team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. The Monarchs were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Mount Miguel on Thursday.

Monte Vista walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-10, 25-19.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Valley Center rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They blew past the Serpents 3-0. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Jaguars as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Monte Vista's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-12. As for Valley Center, their victory bumped their record up to 11-20.
