Football Game Preview: Tech Boston Academy vs. Lynn Classical Rams

Tech Boston Academy will head out on the road to face off against the Lynn Classical Rams at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Tech Boston Academy's offense hasn't had much luck over their past three matchups, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tech Boston Academy's offense might be in the hot seat on Saturday considering what happened against Boston Latin Academy on Friday. They took a 6-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dragons.

Tech Boston Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Xavier Carter, who rushed for 96 yards on only 11 carries, and Traychon French, who rushed for 44 yards. French also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing one fumble, making one tackle, and defending one pass.

Meanwhile, Lynn Classical didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Malden on Saturday, but they still walked away with a 13-8 win. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Golden Tornados recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

The critical scores for Lynn Classical came from Kalu Nasky and Doug Andrade.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Lynn Classical's defense and their three sacks. Manny Mendez was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself.

Tech Boston Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lynn Classical, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.
