Baseball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

Washington lost against Bennett back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Jaguars lost 16-0 to the Clippers. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Bennett, they pushed their record up to 11-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Washington will square off against rival Pocomoke at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bennett is set to face off against their familiar foe Decatur at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Clippers 2.1, the Seahawks 2.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
