Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Independence). They breezed past the Summers County Bobcats to the tune of 77-35 on Thursday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Independence's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Summers County, they dropped their record down to 2-14 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Independence will venture away from home to square off against Liberty at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday. Liberty has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Summers County, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against River View at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
