Basketball Recap: Morgan Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Morgan and Judge Memorial Catholic squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Morgan had to settle for second. They fell 41-29 to the Judge Memorial Catholic Bulldogs. The matchup marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Morgan's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Keira Brewer, who posted three points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Brewer has been hot recently, having posted nine or more boards the last four times she's played.

This is the second loss in a row for Morgan and nudges their season record down to 14-12. As for Judge Memorial Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-12 record this season.
