After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Athens, Meigs was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Warren Warriors a 10-0 shutout. The Marauders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.

Natalie Goode made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 14 over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Meigs let Aubrey Newell and Bella Roush run wild. Newell went 3-for-5 with two RBI and one double, while Roush went 2-for-5 with two runs and one stolen base. Gracie Yost was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
