Basketball Recap: Southwest Wins Going Away Against Howard

Southwest won the last time they faced Howard and things went their way on Friday too. The Patriots blew past the Huskies 78-58. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

Chase Dupree was a one-man wrecking crew as he shot 63% from the field on his way to 39 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Those 39 points gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ovtavios Raglin, who posted seven points and five steals.

Southwest's record now sits at 2-0. As for Howard, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Southwest will square off against Peachtree Ridge at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Howard, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Westside at 7:30 p.m. on December 1.
