Soccer Recap: Edison Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Edison can now relate to. They fell just short of the Harvard-Westlake Wolverines by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Chargers couldn't quite close it out.

Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Harvard-Westlake, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Edison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Harvard-Westlake, they will square off against Jurupa Hills at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Jurupa Hills will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Harvard-Westlake surely won't give up without a fight.
