Basketball Recap: East Skates Past South with Ease

With a playoff win on the line, East rose to the challenge on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 65-22 victory over the South Bison. The Thunderbirds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matches by 20 points or more this season.

East is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.6 points. South is on a 36-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-22.

East wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 50-42 win against Sheridan on the 6th. South does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
