Softball Recap: Baldwin Wins Going Away Against Friends' Central

Baldwin won the last time they faced Friends' Central and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bears blew past Friends' Central 11-3. That's two games straight that the Bears have won by exactly eight runs.

Jules Torres spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on four hits and racked up 12 Ks.

On the hitting side, Addison Milner was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. Julia Baur was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one run.

Baldwin's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Friends' Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Baldwin will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Academy-Notre Dame De Namur at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The game will give the Bears their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Friends' Central, they will challenge Lower Merion at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
