            Softball Recap: Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers vs. Morris Redskins        
        
		
        
        
            Bradley-Bourbonnais won the last time they faced Morris and things went their way  on Saturday too. The Boilermakers walked away with  a   7-2  win over the Redskins. That's two games straight that the Boilermakers have won by  exactly five  runs.
 Lydia Hammond made a big impact no matter where she played. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits while striking out 13 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with two  RBI and one  double.
 In other batting news,  Bella Pusateri and  Abbie Hofbauer did most of the damage at the plate:  Pusateri  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4, while  Hofbauer  scored a  run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Olivia Woolman, who  went 1-for-4 with one  home run.
