Basketball Recap: Moran Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Moran needed a changed in momentum after dropping five straight games and they got it from Ellis Hise. The Moran Bulldogs walked away with a 42-30 win over the Panther Creek Panthers on Tuesday thanks in part to Hise, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 17 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Moran's points.

Another player making a difference was Cotton Campbell, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Moran's points.

Moran's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Panther Creek, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moran will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Garner at 12:30 p.m. on December 28th. As for Panther Creek, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Paint Rock at 3:30 p.m.
