Gulf Pointe Latin extended their winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Kaitlyn Lothringer. The Gulf Pointe Latin Gladiators came out on top against Covenant Christian by a score of 48-39 on Friday thanks in part to Lothringer, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 18 rebounds. Those 17 points gave her a new career-high.

Another player making a difference was Bethany Crumpler, who posted nine points and seven steals. She has been hot recently, having posted four or more steals the last four times she's played.

Gulf Pointe Latin has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.6 points per game. As for Covenant Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.
