Softball Recap: Rehobeth Victorious

Rehobeth got themselves on the board against Geneva County on Wednesday, but Geneva County never followed suit. They came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 5-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rebels also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Rehobeth let Shelby Davis and Maddie Williams run wild. Davis scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Williams scored three runs while going 1-for-2. What's more, Davis posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in March. Kryslin Martin also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Rehobeth kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Geneva County only managed four hits.

Rehobeth's record now sits at 9-12-1. As for Geneva County, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.

Rehobeth wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 15-1 win against Northside Methodist Academy on the 9th. As for Geneva County, they have also already played their next contest, a 14-4 defeat against Ariton on the 9th.
