Lecanto benefitted from Sloane in 4-1 defeat
Lecanto was sadly handed a defeat on Thursday, but Nick Sloane did his best to prevent it. Despite the loss, Sloane was still locked in as he tossed seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits (he also didn't allow any walks).
Sloane and Lecanto will face off against Land O' Lakes at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Sloane has dominated as far as walks are concerned (he's averaged 1.5 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering Land O' Lakes has only allowed 3.91 per game this season.
