Baseball Recap: Kinta Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Kinta's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 1-0 to the Leflore Savages, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Savages recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Kinta's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Leflore, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2-1 record this season.

While Kinta had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
