Football Recap: Frankton Comes Up Short

Frankton played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 49-2 defeat at the hands of the Lapel Bulldogs. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-0.

Devin Craig had an outrageously good game for Lapel as he threw for 200 yards and four TDs while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 40 yards and one touchdown.

Frankton's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lapel, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Frankton has already played their next game, a 57-0 defeat against Eastbrook on the 5th. As for Lapel, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 28-12 win against Shenandoah on the 5th.
