Volleyball Recap: Rockledge Triumphs

Rockledge's tournament run continued when they took on Manatee on Saturday. The Raiders sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Hurricanes.

Olivia Samuels paced Rockledge's offense, picking up five kills. Samuels got some help from Madison Gutke and her seven assists. Avianna Gaboury controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Rockledge's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Manatee, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.

Rockledge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Moore Haven on the 4th. As for Manatee, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Space Coast on the 4th.
