After low-scoring totals in their previous three game, Yosemite brought some dynamite into their most recent match. Everything went their way against the Riverdale Cowboys on Monday as they made off with a 10-3 win. The Badgers have beaten the Cowboys the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Cowboys has come to flipping the script.
Thomas Raines was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March.
