Basketball Recap: North Pocono Comes Up Short

North Pocono lost against Scranton back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The North Pocono Trojans might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Scranton Knights an easy 70-48 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Trojans have suffered against the Knights since January 23, 2018.

North Pocono's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Scranton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Pocono will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Valley View at 6:45 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Scranton will take on Lansdale Catholic in a holiday battle at at 2:45 p.m. on Saturday.
