Soccer Preview: Weddington vs. Porter Ridge
On Monday Weddington will have to hit the road after seven straight games at home. They will venture away from home to take on the Porter Ridge Pirates at 7:00 p.m. Weddington's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Last Wednesday, neither Weddington nor Ardrey Kell could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.
Meanwhile, Porter Ridge unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 3-1 to Marvin Ridge. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Pirates couldn't quite close it out.
Weddington's draw makes their record 3-4-3 this season. As for Porter Ridge, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-3.
