The Sequoia Ravens will head out to challenge the Carlmont Scots at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sequoia is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.

Sequoia easily dispatched Capuchino on Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Ravens fell just short of Los Altos by a score of 8-6 on Saturday.

Sequoia saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cameron Abrams, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run and two RBI. Logan Mathias was another, going 3-for-4 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, Carlmont unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 6-2 to Archbishop Riordan.

Carlmont now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Sequoia, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-11.

Sequoia was able to grind out a solid win over Carlmont in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, winning 5-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Ravens since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
