Football Game Preview: East Paulding Raiders vs. Lithia Springs Lions + How To Watch

The East Paulding Raiders will head out on the road to take on the Lithia Springs Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Friday, East Paulding was just a hair shy of victory and fell 23-22 to New Manchester. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, East Paulding saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Bode Spence threw for 164 yards and one touchdown on only 14 passes, and also rushed for 35 yards and one TD.

Meanwhile, Lithia Springs played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Villa Rica, falling 30-8. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost three in a row.

Lithia Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for East Paulding, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Everything came up roses for East Paulding against Lithia Springs in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 59-14 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Lions' Randy Parker, who picked up 133 receiving yards and one score.
