Baseball Recap: Munster Comes Up Short

After flying high against Wheeler on Friday, Munster came back down to earth. The Mustangs came up short against the Andrean Fighting 59ers on Monday, falling 14-5. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Fighting 59ers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Munster saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nate Southwell, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

Munster's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Andrean, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-1.

While Munster had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
