Baseball Recap: North Sevier Gets the Win

North Sevier won the last time they faced Lincoln County and things went their way on Saturday too. The North Sevier Wolves walked away with a 9-4 win over the Lincoln County Lynx.

Tate Torgerson made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three). He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, James Crowley was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Four bases. while going 3-for-3. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Parker Jensen was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two RBI.

The victory got North Sevier back to even at 2-2. As for Lincoln County, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Sevier will be taking part in a tournament against Millard at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Lincoln County, they will take on Liberty Baptist Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
