Basketball Game Preview: Eastern Comets vs. Oak Hill Golden Eagles

Eastern is 0-10 against Oak Hill since January of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Eastern Comets will look to defend their home court against the Oak Hill Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Eastern is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Saturday. They fell 46-35 to Peru.

Meanwhile, after a string of 15 wins, Oak Hill's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell to Alexandria-Monroe 51-45.

Eastern will need focus on slowing down Landri Hardman, one of several Oak Hill players who made an impact when they last played. She went 7 for 14 en route to 17 points and five assists. That's the most points Hardman has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Brianna Dailey, who posted 13 points and eight boards.

Eastern's defeat dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Oak Hill, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 19-2.
