Tualatin proved they can win big on Friday (they won by seven) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tigard Tigers, sneaking past 2-1. This was payback for the Timberwolves, who suffered a 6-3 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Tualatin is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Tigard, they now have a losing record of 8-9-1.

Tualatin will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
