Baseball Game Preview: Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves vs. South Spartans

For the second straight game, Wiseburn- Da Vinci will face off against South. The Wolves will take on the Spartans at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

South hit Wiseburn- Da Vinci with a seven-run sixth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Wolves lost 11-2 to the Spartans. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci got a good showing from David Holliday, who tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the first time Holliday hasn't allowed a single earned run since back in March.

At the plate, Wiseburn- Da Vinci saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was James Mara, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for South, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
