Baseball Recap: Manor Mustangs vs. Cedar Ridge Raiders

Manor extended their losing streak to 18 on Friday, dropping their season record down to 3-20 in the process. They came up short against the Cedar Ridge Raiders, falling 19-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 23-0 on Tuesday.

As for Cedar Ridge, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games.

For Cedar Ridge's part, Jason Mazoch looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Mazoch has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Noah Olivas was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. Matthew Fletcher was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
