Volleyball Game Preview: Jacobs Golden Eagles vs. Huntley Red Raiders + Official Tickets

Jacobs hasn't had much luck against Huntley recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Golden Eagles will face off against the Red Raiders at 5:30 p.m. Jacobs is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.

On Tuesday, Jacobs beat McHenry 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Jacobs took both sets by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Huntley earned a 2-0 victory over Cary-Grove on Tuesday.

While Huntley won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-22.

The win got Jacobs back to even at 15-15. As for Huntley, their record now sits at 14-6.

Jacobs couldn't quite get it done against Huntley in their previous matchup back in September as they fell 2-0. Can the Golden Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
