Ashton Byrd Game Report: @ Braxton County

Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Ashton Byrd: he recorded his first sack on Friday and we're guessing he's looking for more. He also forced one fumble and made nine total tackles (2.0 for loss), but sadly Ritchie County still had to take a 16-6 loss at the hands of Braxton County. Byrd's game will now exist on MaxPreps.com until the end of time, and we hope to see many more in the weeks (or years) to come.

Byrd and Ritchie County will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Gilmer County at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. The Rebels are 6-1 against the Titans going back to October of 2018, a lead they'll look to extend.
