Preview: Sycamore War Eagles vs. Stewart County Rebels
The Sycamore War Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Stewart County Rebels at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Last Friday, things could have been worse for Sycamore, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 32-14 loss to Fairview.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Stewart County, who are still winless after their ninth match. They were beaten by Cheatham County Central 56-7 on Friday.
Sycamore's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Stewart County, their defeat was their 13th straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-9.
Everything came up roses for Sycamore against Stewart County in their previous meeting back in September of 2022 as the squad secured a 49-7 win. Does Sycamore have another victory up their sleeve, or will Stewart County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
