Booker T. Washington is headed into Monday's matchup hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They were dealt a 66-34 defeat at the hands of Montgomery Catholic on Saturday. The Golden Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-15.

Meanwhile, LeFlore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 64-38 to St. Paul's Episcopal. While losing is never fun, the Rattlers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 316th, while the Saints are ranked 65th).

Booker T. Washington's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-4. As for LeFlore, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.
