With a playoff win on the line, Westside rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They pulled ahead with a 38-37 photo finish over the Callaway Cavaliers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Seminoles.

Westside's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Destiny Spencer led the charge by almost dropping a double-double with nine points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Domonique Billue, who posted 18 points along with eight steals and seven boards.

Westside's victory bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Callaway, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-10.

Looking ahead, Westside will challenge Morgan County on Friday. Morgan County will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Westside surely won't give up without a fight. Callaway does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
