Softball Recap: Centerville Takes a Loss

Centerville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 12-2 to the Grapeland Sandies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sandies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-3 back in March.

Centerville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Skyler Selvog, who went 1-for-2 with one triple.

Centerville's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Grapeland, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-12 record this season.

Centerville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grapeland, they will welcome Leon at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
