Volleyball Recap: Kenston Comes Up Short

Kenston lost against Gilmour Academy back in September of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bombers fell just short of the Lancers by a score of 3-2. The Bombers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Kenston sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-19, 21-25, 25-16, 21-25, 18-16.

Kenston's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Gilmour Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kenston will square off against Archbishop Hoban at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gilmour Academy, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on St. Ursula Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
