Basketball Recap: Oswego Comes Up Short

If Oswego was feeling good fresh off their 77-49 takedown of Romeoville last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Oswego Panthers took a blow against the Plainfield North Tigers on Thursday, falling 64-37. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost nine in a row.

Oswego's defeat dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Plainfield North, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-6.

Oswego will host Metea Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Plainfield North, they will head out on the road to square off against Oswego East at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
