Baseball Recap: Palo Verde Comes Up Short

Palo Verde lost against Thatcher back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Palo Verde came up short against Thatcher, falling 20-1. The Titans' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Palo Verde's record is now 5-5. As for Thatcher, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palo Verde will challenge Sabino at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Thatcher, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Thatcher Eagles take on Rio Rico Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last four games Rio Rico has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
