Baseball Recap: West Clermont Takes a Loss

West Clermont was the 4-0 winner over Kings when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolves lost 9-2 to the Knights on Thursday. Wolves fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Knights since on Thursday.

West Clermont saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Huddleson, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

This is the second loss in a row for West Clermont and nudges their season record down to 10-12. As for Kings, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-8.

Coming up, West Clermont will look to defend their home field on Friday against Anderson at 5:00 p.m. The Wolves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Raptors have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season. As for Kings, they will face off against Edgewood at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
