Basketball Recap: Amityville Memorial Drops Highest Score of Season Against East Islip

Amityville Memorial scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They fell to the East Islip Redmen 51-46. The Warriors just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Despite the loss, Amityville Memorial still got an impressive performance from Alana Henry, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 13 boards. Henry's afternoon made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Amityville Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for East Islip, their victory ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-0.

Amityville Memorial didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 46-30 win against Deer Park on the 30th. East Islip does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
