Basketball Game Preview: Sidney Yellowjackets vs. West Carrollton Pirates

Sidney and West Carrollton are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The Sidney Yellowjackets will host the West Carrollton Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Sidney's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matchups.

Last Friday, Sidney didn't have too much trouble with Stebbins as they won 60-41. Given the Yellowjackets' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 217th, while the Indians are ranked 605th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, West Carrollton strolled past Piqua with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 55-39. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pirates.

West Carrollton is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.5 points per game. As for Sidney, they pushed their record up to 11-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
