Softball Recap: McKeel Academy Wildcats vs. Frostproof Bulldogs
McKeel Academy not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since February 25th. They put the hurt on the Frostproof Bulldogs with a sharp 16-1 win. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 4-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Chloe Lanier made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in February. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
