Volleyball Recap: Victor's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Victor waltzed into their match on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Clarence Red Devils by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Blue Devils, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Victor easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-19.

Julia Mirabelli paced Victor's offense, picking up 17 kills. Mirabelli got some help from Sophia Heltemes and her 12 assists. Sam Clark controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Victor's victory bumped their record up to 20-6-4. As for Clarence, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Victor didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Williamsville South on the 18th. As for Clarence, they will head out on the road to square off against Hamburg at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
