Blacksburg faced Christiansburg in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Bruins blew past the Blue Demons 4-0. Blacksburg's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

They hit Christiansburg with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Paul Distler (2), Esteban Carvajal, and Craig Huxtable.

Blacksburg's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-0. As for Christiansburg, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blacksburg will face off against Patrick Henry at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
