Baseball Recap: Boling Takes a Loss

Boling lost against East Bernard last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Brahmas by a score of 6-5. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Boling saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trak Jimenez, who scored a run while going 3-for-4. Another was Parks Macek, who scored a run while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Boling's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for East Bernard, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boling will challenge Hempstead at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs are facing the Bobcats at the right time seeing as the Bobcats are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for East Bernard, they will take on Goliad at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
