Volleyball Recap: Pocatello Takes a Loss

After flying high against Century on Thursday, Pocatello came back down to earth. The Thunder fell just short of the Moscow Bears by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. While the Thunder didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bears 25-18 in the first set.

Pocatello took Moscow into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-21, 25-21, 23-25, 15-10.

Pocatello has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-17 record this season. As for Moscow, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-14.

As of now, neither Pocatello nor the Bears have any future games scheduled.
